What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client treatment goals
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within regulatory timeframes
Develop and document individualized treatment plans based on assessments
Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on cases
Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as a professional counselor or social worker in the applicable state
Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
Ability to provide telehealth services, with training provided
Expertise in diagnosing mental health and substance use disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods for mental health and substance use disorders
Strong written and verbal communication skills for report generation
Ability to build effective relationships through various communication methods
Experience in supervisory and training techniques within mental health settings
