What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client/patient treatment goals
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within designated timeframes
Develop and document treatment plans based on assessments and state regulatory standards
Participate in clinical meetings and provide feedback on pertinent cases
Maintain professional relationships with clients/patients, referral sources, and coworkers
What is Required (Qualifications)
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Willingness to become licensed in additional states
Comfort with providing telehealth services
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting
Experience in providing clinical supervision to trainees once professional requirements are met
Familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
Ability to develop and evaluate services within assigned programs
