Position summary and responsibilities align with Walmart Logistics and related operations. The role involves leading area objectives, staffing, scheduling, and ensuring quality and safety standards across the area of responsibility. What you’ll do
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining procedures and documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns, consult with others as needed, determine corrective action, and make recommendations to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; support training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. Foster an inclusive workplace culture, build high-performing teams, and create opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform. Act with integrity and maintain Walmart values, promote policy compliance, and support community initiatives and sustainable practices. Serve customers and members by delivering results and applying customer-focused business models to plans; make data-driven decisions balancing short- and long-term priorities. Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications. Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
