What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling in various settings to meet client needs
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments in accordance with state standards
Develop and document treatment plans based on assessments and client needs
Participate in clinical staffing meetings and collaborate with internal departments for service approval
Maintain documentation of services provided in line with regulatory standards
What is Required (Qualifications)
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Professional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Willingness to become licensed in additional states as required
Experience with telehealth services (training provided)
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health treatment
Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing clear reports
Ability to establish effective relationships with clients via various communication methods
Familiarity with legal requirements and court procedures related to mental health treatment
