Shift Manager – McDonald's Franchisee Restaurant
McDonald’s works for me... but this restaurant is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee, which holds the license to use McDonald’s logos and products, is your sole employer.
Role Summary Shift Managers lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, monitor performance, maintain quality, service, and cleanliness, and ensure safety and profitability for each shift.
Responsibilities
Food safety compliance
Internal communication between shifts
Inventory management
Daily maintenance and cleanliness
Managing crew and scheduling
Quality food production
Exceptional customer service
Safety and security monitoring
Training and coaching of staff
Monitoring shift metrics and meeting targets
Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred. Positive teamwork, a flexible schedule, and an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment are essential. Must be 18 years or older.
