Quality Control Specialist - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Control Specialist to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities
Oversee quality control activities for clean utilities and stainless steel piping systems. Identify, document, and track defects using established procedures and documentation systems. Apply and reference relevant codes, standards, and project specifications to ensure compliance. Enforce quality procedures and ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns promptly. Participate in inspections, audits, and progress meetings as needed. Manage QC documentation, reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions. Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; minimum of an Engineering degree required. Experience in quality control within a pharmaceutical or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of clean utility systems and stainless steel piping standards. Background in construction and/or mechanical system processes preferred. Relevant certifications in quality or inspection a plus (e.g., ASQ, QC Inspector).
