We are seeking an Associate Governmental Program Analyst for Caltrans District 3 to support the Construction Branch in reviewing, analyzing, and managing project status and finances.

Location: Orange County (hybrid field office and office work)
Telework: Hybrid (subject to policy)
Job Type: Permanent, Full‑time
Responsibilities
Review and analyze the status of construction projects in the Civil Branch, gathering information and responding to inquiries.
Track account usage and analyze data for construction project expenditures.
Perform analysis, calculations, and prepare contracts.
Develop monthly progress payment estimates for assigned contracts.
Analyze actual usage reports and maintain related logs.
Qualifications
Score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst state examination (or be on the examination list).
Eligibility to work in California civil service; new‑to‑state candidates require examination credential.
Ability to work in a climate‑controlled office under artificial lighting; occasional travel within the state.
Valid driver’s license required when operating a state‑owned or leased vehicle.
