We are looking for an accomplished and dedicated Scientist to design and perform target engagement assays within BDDS for Johnson & Johnson portfolio projects spanning all modalities and therapeutic areas from nonclinical studies to post‑market clinical development.

Responsibilities

Conduct receptor occupancy method qualification and bioanalysis using multi‑parameter flow cytometry of samples supporting preclinical and clinical studies to assess target engagement of therapeutics in J&J developmental pipeline.

Work in a regulated GLP/GCLP environment with autonomy, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Promote assigned project activities through hands‑on data generation, quality control (QC) and data analysis.

Use advanced computer software packages to collect, analyze, and interpret flow cytometry data.

Set priorities for experimental work to ensure adequate progress of team projects and objectives; ensure laboratory efficiency and compliance with good laboratory practices and regulatory guidelines.

Author assay checklists, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.

Advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum 2‑4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or academic setting.

Demonstrated experience using multi‑parametric flow cytometry (6+ colors) and flow analysis software such as Flowjo or FCS Express.

Solid understanding of cellular techniques, including mammalian cell culture, handling and processing of human and animal blood, PBMCs and aseptic techniques.

Familiarity with BSL2 safety practices for working in the laboratory.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.

Strong motivation to learn new skills, grow as a scientist and adapt to challenges of the job.
