$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive area performance; utilize digital tools; manage inventory to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
