Process Engineer – Hemlock, MI
The Fountain Group is currently seeking a
Process Engineer
for a prominent client of ours.
Location: Hemlock, MI.
Pay Range Pay Range: $35 - 39/hr depending on experience. Contract: 3 months with possible extension. 100% onsite. 1st and 2nd shift available.
Job Description
Observe process, capture data, and develop solutions.
Perform time studies, process studies and improvements to drive throughput.
Identify and catalog defects and document.
Provide hands‑on support identifying and implementing solutions to equipment issues during start‑up and commissioning in the Solar wafer manufacturing plant.
Main focus is equipment installation and startup of multiple lines in rapid succession.
Assist and support team in the execution of equipment start‑up to include setting up equipment, collecting data, and making modifications based on needs.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve equipment and product quality.
Demonstrate personal use of engineering tools and methodologies to understand and address root causes of production issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
