Overview Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client and seeks a skilled SCADA OT Support Engineer to join the Operational Technology (OT) team. The role supports, maintains, and enhances SCADA systems and OT infrastructure in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Provide day‑to‑day support for SCADA systems: troubleshooting, diagnostics, and issue resolution.

Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and data integrity across OT environments.

Collaborate with engineering, IT, and field operations teams to implement upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

Maintain and update documentation for SCADA architecture, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Support cybersecurity initiatives through OT security best practices: patch management, access control, and network segmentation.

Assist in deployment and commissioning of new SCADA assets and field devices (RTUs, PLCs, HMIs).

Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in after‑hour support on‑call rotation, responding to SCADA‑related incidents and alarms.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related field.

2+ years of experience supporting SCADA or industrial control systems in a production environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA or similar SCADA platform.

Experience with PLC/RTU programming and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, IEC 60870).

Understanding of networking: firewalls, VLANs, switches, routers.

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools for OT environments.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries (utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing).
