Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative I (Entry Level) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
This individual assists with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival, addressing any questions or concerns with care and compassion, maintaining the integrity of the waiting area, and assisting during breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
The role offers training in phlebotomy skills to support professional growth within the company.
The Patient Services Representative I (Entry Level) has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures safely and accurately.
This position focuses on excellence in customer care, process efficiency, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
The individual plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the lobby and ensuring all patients receive high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and a willingness to learn new skills.
Requirement/Must Have:
Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or when covering breaks.
Once trained, perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established procedures.
High level of customer service skills and experience required.
Qualification And Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience required (such as retail or home health aide).
