Your impact: Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated
Construction Manager
to join our team in Davie, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects, including highway and roadway construction, while working closely with clients and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities for transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, utilities, and transit facilities
Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and contract compliance
Lead on‑site meetings with staff, subcontractors, and clients
Ensure adherence to safety, quality assurance, and change management protocols
Coordinate with Jacobs management and client representatives to deliver high‑quality outcomes
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on select projects
Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and team assignments
Here’s what you’ll need
Minimum 15 years of experience in highway or transportation construction management
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Valid Florida driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience with FDOT standards
FDOT certifications
Proficiency in ProjectSight, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, or willingness to learn
