Shift Manager
This position is for a Shift Manager at
McDonald's
in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities Shift Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers, maintain quality, service, and cleanliness, and collaborate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a successful shift. Key responsibilities include:
Food Safety
Internal Communication
Inventory Management
Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness
Managing Crew
Quality Food Production
Exceptional Customer Service
Safety and Security
Scheduling
Training
Qualifications Previous leadership experience—preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment—is preferred. Candidates should be at least 18 years of age, flexible with a schedule that supports a fast‑paced environment, and possess strong team‑building and coaching skills.
