WHAT YOU’LL DO
Advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, finance, governance, and securities compliance
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
Ensure adherence to federal and state laws and regulations
Collaborate with external counsel as needed
Supervise junior attorneys, legal assistants, and potentially paralegals
Train and support members of the legal team and other staff
Communicate effectively through in-person interaction, virtual meetings, email, and phone
Participate in Corporate Group meetings and firm events
Engage in business development initiatives
Manage daily communications (calls, emails, etc.)
Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
Undergraduate degree and JD from accredited institutions
Active WSBA membership
Minimum 15 years of corporate law experience
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Deep expertise in corporate law, including M&A, finance, governance, and securities
Strong ability to advise on complex issues
Proven business development experience
Effective delegation and training abilities
Sound business judgment with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Excellent organizational and project-management skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfort working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (sit/stand desk available)
