What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Identify, document, and implement privacy controls across the organization Perform privacy risk assessments (PIAs) and data protection risk assessments (DPIAs) Advise teams on control design and implementation to enhance privacy management Stay updated on global privacy regulations and innovations applicable to the employer Proactively manage project risks and communicate progress to cross-functional teams
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 4 years of experience in privacy management and risk management Solid understanding of global data privacy legislations and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Experience with privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with limited guidance in a complex technological environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
7-10 years of experience in privacy management, risk management, and project management Experience in information security, data governance, and privacy Consulting experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus Privacy or security certifications (e.g., CISA, CIPP, CIPM, CISM)
