What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Identify, document, and implement privacy controls across the organization

Conduct privacy risk assessments (PIAs) and data protection risk assessments (DPIAs)

Advise teams on control design and implementation to enhance privacy governance

Manage and mitigate project risks while communicating status and timelines to stakeholders

Stay updated on global privacy regulations and innovations to inform strategy and practices

What is Required (Qualifications):

Minimum of 4 years of experience in privacy management and risk management

Strong understanding of global data privacy legislations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)

Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in complex technological ecosystems

Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently with limited guidance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

7-10 years of experience in privacy management, risk management, and project management

Consulting experience in privacy, information security, or data governance

Advanced education, such as a Master’s degree

Privacy or security certifications (e.g., CISA, CIPP, CIPM, CISM)

Experience collaborating with legal, product, and engineering teams
