What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Identify, document, and implement privacy controls within the organization

Perform privacy risk assessments (PIAs) and data protection risk assessments (DPIAs)

Advise teams on control design and implementation to enhance privacy management capabilities

Keep up with global privacy regulations and contribute to the overall privacy strategy

Manage and mitigate project risks related to privacy and data protection initiatives

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of 4 years of experience in privacy management and risk management

Strong understanding of global data privacy legislations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)

Experience with privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)

Knowledge of privacy by design principles and NIST/ISO standards

Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

7-10 years of experience in privacy management, risk management, and project management

Experience in information security, data governance, and GRC

Consulting experience is a plus

Relevant certifications in privacy or security (e.g., CISA, CIPP, CIPM, CISM)

Experience collaborating with legal, product, and engineering teams
