Job Summary Within the Star Dental Partners affiliated network of dental practices, the Office Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the operations of a single location. The Office Manager will focus on executing numerous operational tasks with the goal of enhancing practice‑level efficiencies and growth in conjunction with the support team and the primary dentist of the practice. The Office Manager works closely with the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to drive a positive team culture and achieve positive practice results.
Key Responsibilities
Manage office and staff scheduling.
Time & Attendance (T&A) management.
Payroll process management.
Accounts Payable (AP) management.
Manage insurance claims and other forms of payment.
Patient satisfaction and experience.
Collaborate on internal and external marketing efforts.
Implement policies and procedures.
Promote SDP company policies and best practices.
Management of dental licenses and related certifications.
Maintain current safety procedures and required PPE.
Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of dental office management or equivalent experience.
Proficient in dental performance management software (Dentrix, Denticon Preferred).
Strong understanding of marketing strategies, platforms, tools and metrics.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word).
Solid understanding of P&L management, revenue cycle, A/R budgeting.
Comprehensive understanding of labor law enforcement.
Adherence to current regulatory agency guidelines (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, etc.).
