Position Summary
UNM Information Technologies isseeking a highly qualified and experienced Enterprise Project Manager. Qualified individuals will be expected tolead and manage the development of large technology projects with direct impacton the core enterprise operations and processes of the University and providementoring and support to UNM staff using the PMO’s methodology and tools. Project Managers work with Directors andmanagers to align projects to meet business and IT needs and with managers andstaff across the University to drive adoption of best practices that improveour return on technology investment.Strong skills are required in project management, business analysis,system development life cycle, cost and quality management, team building,conflict resolution, problem solving and organizational change management. The candidate must have demonstratedexperience with technology projects in a large and complex organization, and inimplementation of technical services that conform to the Information TechnologyInfrastructure Library. Knowledge ofcurrent trends and developments in information technology, and an understandingof information requirements of a major research university are required. Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by the department. Successful candidate may be subject to a criminal background check prior to starting work. Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Institute certificationin Project Management
Experience with agile or extreme PMmethodology
Experience with System Development LifeCycles
Certification in ITIL
Understanding of IT architecture
Experience at a public higher educationinstitution
Training Additional Requirements
