SAP - Supply Chain Sales Lead – Senior Manager – Consulting
EY is seeking an experienced Sales Lead to play a pivotal role in the Technology practice, transforming client supply chain operations through SAP solutions.
Location: Anywhere in Country.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver complex engagements, ensuring quality and risk controls.
Lead engagement delivery and manage day‑to‑day client relationships.
Oversee program/project management, ensuring engagement economics are met.
Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
Skills And Attributes for Success
Lead large‑scale sales pursuits across Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products sectors.
Identify and generate new business opportunities, collaborating across EY practices.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with CXO‑level clients.
Develop market insights and create robust pipelines with SAP solution capabilities.
Utilize integrated sales framework to drive large‑scale SAP pursuits, incorporating innovative solutions.
Lead and motivate diverse sales teams, providing feedback and coaching.
Ensure alignment with client objectives in SAP client engagements.
Demonstrate strong business acumen and stay informed of industry trends.
Deliver high‑quality client services by monitoring progress and managing risks.
Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition.
Analyze and map technology cost‑benefit scenarios.
Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
At least 15 years of related work experience.
At least 10 years driving large SAP sales initiatives for clients in the relevant sectors.
Proven ability to build SAP market presence and pipeline.
Minimum 10 years experience in SAP Supply Chain management programs.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based team members.
Knowledge of best practices in SAP Supply Chain, including benchmarking and advisory experience.
Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
Willingness to travel (40‑60%).
Ideally You’ll Also Have
Prior consulting industry experience.
Experience leading primary sales initiatives for SAP Supply Chain and other SAP solutions.
Track record as a workstream or team lead for Supply Chain projects using SAP.
Experience with at least three full‑lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC / S/4HANA) in Supply Chain modules.
Experience integrating SAP with IBP, MES, and SAP QM.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations in complex industrial environments.
Understanding of product lifecycle management, Engineering BOMs, and Manufacturing BOMs.
Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models.
