Interact with Product Management and business users to develop new features/applications and enhance functionality and efficiencies of existing applications. Collaborate with fellow developers to share best practices, review logic, and learn new technologies. Work with various database systems and business processes within environments utilizing Windows, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, .NET, Java, IIS, and WebSphere. Provide production support, maintenance, and enhancements for applications supporting Mutual Fund Trading and Clearing. Collaborate with development teams and technology leaders across Schwab on product development, best practices, and automation. Assess and apply emerging technologies, practices, and processes to improve efficiency and innovation. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX, subject to Schwab’s workplace flexibility policies. What you have
Job Requirements:
Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or related field, with 36 months of experience involving: Microservices using .Net technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server with OAuth, CSK3, or SAML for security. Backend processing using MongoDB and Aerospike. Frontend development with Angular 4+. Coding using SOLID principles and designing GoF patterns in microservices and Cloud Native Architecture. Real-time event processing and messaging with IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, and Kafka. Developing CI/CD pipelines using JENKINS or Bamboo, with unit testing, linting, and SonarQube.
