General Manager – McDonald’s (Franchisee Employer)
This role is for a General Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, is the employer responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
Set the restaurant’s goals in partnership with leadership and develop strategies to achieve them.
Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers, coaching and directing them to improve each department.
Hire and develop Assistant and Shift Managers to build a capable future leadership team.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
Background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail strongly desired.
Legal age of 18 years or older to serve as manager in a corporate‑owned and operated restaurant.
