What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide in-house legal counsel on a wide range of commercial and operational matters
Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including supply, purchase, and IT contracts
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Manage contract workflows and oversee tracking systems to improve enterprise contract management
Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to support due diligence and integration initiatives for M&A activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution
Current member in good standing of a bar association in a U.S. State
Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a practicing transactional attorney, focusing on commercial contracts
Strong background in contract drafting and negotiation
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry
Familiarity with commercial Contract Management Systems
Proven ability to manage a high volume of contracts and multiple projects simultaneously
