Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead internal and external quality audits, including supplier and customer audits, and manage subsequent action plans.
Oversee the investigation of non-conformances, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure product and process quality meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements through robust quality control measures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Manage the quality assurance team, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and recommending strategic improvements.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Strong command of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing quality teams.
Bonus Qualifications
Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Experience implementing or optimizing digital Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering quality-related training programs
