An innovative national firm is looking for a transportation practice leader in its Miami or Orlando locations.
Job Summary This role will be the primary focus point for project delivery on FDOT and municipal projects throughout central and southern Florida. Candidates will lead a team of P.E.'s and junior engineers with a mid‑size ESOP consultancy.
The role is ideal for candidates with 8‑15 years of experience who want to be an employee owner and step into a leadership role in a consultancy that stands out.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary focus point for project delivery on FDOT and municipal projects throughout central and southern Florida.
Lead and manage a team of P.E.'s and junior engineers.
Oversee project development, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking, and proposal development.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
Knowledge of FDOT design and standards.
PE license in Florida.
Experience in business development and project development processes.
