Interim Chief Nursing Officer – LTAC
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $230,000.00 – $240,000.00
A Kentucky healthcare organization is seeking their next Interim Chief Nursing Officer‑LTAC!
The Position
The Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), LTAC, will be responsible for the oversight of high‑level operations throughout two facilities.
Interim CNO will oversee approximately 50 total FTEs and will focus on departmental initiatives including coaching/development, compliance/reporting, action planning, and growth objectives.
This leader will ensure departments are appropriately staffed to ratio and will also be expected to work with senior leadership to ensure nursing services are meeting patient care standards.
Ideal candidates will be strong, visible, and compassionate leaders. Strong operational nursing background is essential.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, adept at change management, and skilled at building relationships with both clinical staff and leadership. A focus on accountability, action plans, and driving results is critical.
Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
BSN is required; MSN is strongly preferred.
Active KY and/or compact RN license is required.
CNO leadership experience over LTAC is required.
Compensation Details
Compensation Range: $230,000 to $240,000 annually.
The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
