Position Summary This role focuses on driving and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production quality, safety, and operational improvement, while managing financial aspects, ensuring compliance, and leading associate and leader development.

What you'll do

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).

Drive and implement the business plan to reach facility goals of production, quality, safety, and operational improvements.

Forecast and follow up on staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.

Manage financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses versus budget, and monitoring asset utilization.

Ensure compliance with logistics, company quality, safety standards, and policies, and develop or maintain supporting documentation.

Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others as needed.

Supervise and manage associates and leaders; provide direction, monitor performance, give feedback, identify training needs, and provide growth opportunities.

Oversee maintenance department daily operations and performance related to equipment (material handling, pneumatic, electrical, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, general building repairs). Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OSHA regulations.

Oversee and direct financial aspects, monitor capital expenditures versus budget, and analyze business reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field plus 1 year experience in an industrial maintenance environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion of employees.

OR Associate’s Degree or technical school certification in a related field (e.g., welding, refrigeration, electrical, electronics) plus 3 years experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload, and hiring and promotion.

OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Maintenance Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates, managing associate workload, and hiring and promotion.

OR 3 years supervisory or managerial experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing employees, managing workload, analyzing financial/operational data, and hiring and promotion in a maintenance or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Facility Maintenance; Financial Modeling and Analysis; General Maintenance; Managing challenging workforce issues; Material Handling Equipment (MHE); Modeling/Forecasting; Preparing and executing budgets; Profit and Loss (P&L) Accountability; Project Management; Supervising Associates; Walmart Logistics Manager; Walmart Logistics Systems.

Associates: Electrical Science.

Bachelors: Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management.

Salary Annual salary range: $104,000.00 – $156,000.00 per year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location); Stock options.
