What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Build and run experiments to enhance the growth of retail products

Design scalable systems to address novel problems using modern cloud technology

Develop a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems

Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to create a quarterly roadmap

Write high‑quality, well‑tested code to meet customer needs

What is Required (Qualifications):

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering

Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services

Ability to compose a service‑oriented architecture

Strong coding skills with a focus on writing high‑quality, well‑tested code

Passion for building an open financial system that connects the world

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience launching new products from inception to completion

Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks

Knowledge of blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)

Experience with programming languages and tools such as Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB

Background in building fintech or highly reliable and secure systems
