Responsibilities
Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang
Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices
Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a quarterly roadmap
Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
Proven track record of designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
Strong ability to compose a service-oriented architecture
Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code
Passion for building an open financial system that connects the world
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with rapid growth in a company (from startup to mid-size)
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
Knowledge of blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
Experience in decomposing a large monolith into microservices
Proficiency with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
