What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang
Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology
Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a tangible roadmap
Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications)
At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
Ability to compose a service-oriented architecture
Strong coding skills with a focus on writing high-quality, well-tested code
Passion for building an open financial system that connects the world
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a rapidly growing company (from startup to mid-size)
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
Experience with blockchain technologies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
Knowledge of decomposing a large monolith into microservices
Proficiency with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
