What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Build and run experiments to drive the growth of the employer’s retail products

Design scalable systems to address novel problems using modern cloud technology

Develop and articulate a long‑term vision for backend systems maintenance and scalability

Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to create a quarterly roadmap

Write high‑quality, well‑tested code to meet customer needs

What is Required (Qualifications):

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering

Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services

Ability to compose a service‑oriented architecture

Strong passion for creating an open financial system that connects the world

Proficiency in writing high‑quality, well‑tested code

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience launching new products from 0 to 1

Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks

Knowledge of blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)

Experience with programming languages and technologies like Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB

Background in building fintech, highly reliable, and/or secure systems
