Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and SCADA systems.
Integrate and commission robotic systems, vision systems, and other advanced automation technologies.
Optimize existing automation systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and reliability.
Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support for automation‑related issues on the production floor.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen‑Bradley) for control system design and implementation.
Experience with industrial robotics programming, integration, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
Demonstrated ability in SCADA/HMI development and configuration (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, Rockwell FTView).
Proven experience with industrial vision systems for inspection and guidance (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex automation systems.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
Proficiency in industrial data acquisition, historian, and analytics platforms (e.g., Ignition, AVEVA PI System).
Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity principles and practices.
