We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for a growing team of 300 employees, both exempt and non-exempt. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire position offering competitive hourly pay and the opportunity for long-term placement within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll for 300 employees, including both exempt and non-exempt staff.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records in ADP Workforce Now.
Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefits contributions.
Assist with payroll audits, tax filings, and end-of-year reporting.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide resolutions promptly.
Collaborate with HR to manage employee changes such as new hires, terminations, and salary updates.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
Strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) software.
Experience with payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
