Job Information
Research Assistant Professor - Community Engaged The Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of local, national, and global populations through education, research, and partnerships that are innovative and transformative.
Qualifications & Experience
Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, including public health, psychology, and social welfare, or related biomedical, behavioral, or social science. Prior experience in Latino health research in areas including substance use, mental health, sexual risk behaviors, and related consequences is preferred. Track record of scholarly publication. Track record of extramural funding. Track record of community‑engaged research activities. Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods and data analyses. Bilingual (Spanish, English) strongly preferred. Strong research experience and written and oral communications skills. Familiarity with educational technologies and innovative learning.
