Family Law Attorney
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of family law and will be responsible for providing legal representation and guidance to clients in various family-related legal matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in family law proceedings such as divorce, custody, and support hearings.
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Conduct depositions and mediations to resolve disputes amicably.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations under family law.
Prepare and present cases in court, arguing on behalf of clients during hearings and trials.
Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering any questions they may have.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
Proven experience in family law, including handling cases related to divorce, custody, and support.
Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Experience with depositions, mediations, and courtroom hearings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and other legal professionals.
