Base pay range: $69,500.00/yr – $95,500.00/yr
About the Role Join Jacobs as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on projects across industrial and commercial facilities, including data centers. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing control systems for a variety of processes, developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Design and optimize control systems for processes.
Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation.
Document and model design information.
Coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead.
Provide on‑site assistance during startup.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and controls.
Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications preferred.
Experience working with data centers.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent organizational and multi‑disciplinary collaboration abilities.
Passion for buildings and construction.
