Responsibilities
Cultivate and expand a diverse portfolio of business clients, predominantly S corporations and partnerships spanning various industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, professional services, and technology.
Strategize, execute, and provide cutting‑edge federal and state tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions to clients.
Conduct tax research on federal and multi‑state income taxes, including non‑resident withholding and composite tax issues.
Ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication, expectation management, timely delivery, and proactive sharing of tax optimization strategies.
Collaborate closely with principals and team members on client management, professional growth initiatives, and business expansion endeavors.
Oversee, nurture, train, and guide staff, conducting performance evaluations and engagement assessments.
Qualifications
CPA certification required, with a solid 10+ years of tax‑related experience.
Proficiency in S corporations and partnerships, including partnership capital account maintenance and allocations.
Strong technical acumen in tax preparation and review, compliance, agency correspondence, and tax research.
Ability to foster and nurture profitable, enduring client relationships.
Demonstrated capacity to self‑manage, organize, prioritize, and handle multiple engagements within tight deadlines.
Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills conducive to building strong client and team rapport.
