Job Description The Regional Business Leader, Sleep Disorders, plays a critical role in executing business strategies to launch a novel, first‑in‑class orexin therapy for narcolepsy type 1. As a first‑line leader, this position involves building and leading a team of sales representatives to ensure that sales performance meets or surpasses company objectives.
How You Will Contribute
Lead the compliant execution of business strategies to deliver or exceed sales expectations at regional and area levels.
Recruit, hire, and coach a high‑performance sales team.
Translate the broader vision into actionable plans, fostering a culture of results, accountability, and continuous development.
Provide consistent, measurable performance feedback and coaching to elevate sales skills and territory management.
Implement regional marketing strategies, manage budgets, and support the launch of new products.
Build and maintain relationships with key regional KOLs, HCPs, sleep centers, and institutions.
Leverage digital tools and AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate across cross‑functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Proactively communicate insights and directions to internal partners.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree – BS/BA.
5+ years of management‑level experience with a proven track record in pharmaceutical, biologic, or medical device industries.
Prior experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
Business and strategic planning skills, ability to adapt to market changes.
Proven coaching, delegation, and motivation experience.
Analytical skills to develop actionable insights.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Comfortable with emerging technologies and AI‑enabled processes.
Reside in or near the assigned geography.
Preferred
MBA or Master’s Degree.
3+ years of people‑leadership experience.
Experience selling or leading teams in the rare disease space.
Sleep Disorders experience.
Pharmaceutical product launch experience.
Licenses / Certifications
Valid driver’s license.
Travel Requirements
Travel 50‑75% to support the region, including overnight stays.
Ability to drive or fly to meetings, client sites, and national training events.
Compensation and Benefits Summary In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive short‑term and long‑term incentive pay.
