Manager, HR Integration, M&A Strategy

Join KPMG US as a Manager in the Strategy practice focusing on HR integration and M&A strategy. This role supports domestic and global post‑deal HR integrations for Fortune 1000 and middle‑market companies, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to establish and merge compensation and benefits platforms.

Responsibilities

Perform domestic and global post‑deal HR integrations for mergers, acquisitions, spin‑offs, carve‑outs, and related transactions.

Collaborate with KPMG’s cross‑functional integration and separation teams, focusing on HR, compensation, and benefits integration.

Identify HR, compensation, and benefit plan exposures during due diligence.

Manage the engagement process from start to finish: setting scopes, budgets, staffing, client deliverables, and communicating results with clients.

Develop, coach, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of actuarial experience in designing and implementing active health and welfare plans in a top accounting or benefits consulting firm. Experience with other compensation and benefit plans is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college.

On‑track or attained FSA, EA, CEBS, CCP, and/or CEP designations.

Significant project‑management experience, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and partners to successful project completion.

Highly motivated, self‑starter, team player with strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Willingness and ability to travel.

Authorized to work in the U.S. without needing employment‑based visa sponsorship.
