This full-time on-site role as Assistant General Manager is based in Bethesda, MD. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow across all departments. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring team members, maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring adherence to company standards, managing schedules, overseeing inventory and supply orders, and collaborating with the General Manager to achieve financial objectives. The ideal candidate will also foster a positive workplace culture and align with PLANTA's mission of sustainable dining and exceptional hospitality. Qualifications

Proven leadership abilities, including team management, collaboration, and decision-making skills Strong operational knowledge in restaurant management, including inventory control, scheduling, and adherence to health and safety standards Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to cultivate a positive guest experience and team environment Problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Familiarity with plant-based cuisine and a passion for sustainability are highly preferred Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality setting Experience in a similar management role within the restaurant industry; a hospitality management degree is a plus Job Details
