Human Resources Information System Specialist
This role is posted by LHH. The Specialist will maintain and enhance the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support HR processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS
Process new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and position updates
Support HRIS workflows, benefits, and payroll integrations
Generate and distribute scheduled and ad‑hoc HR reports
Troubleshoot system errors and coordinate with IT or vendors
Assist with audits, data cleanup, and system improvements
Document HRIS processes and provide guidance to HR team members
Support HR projects including upgrades, enhancements, and data migrations
Qualities Qualifications
Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, UKG, Paycom, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to analyze and report on HR data
Intermediate Excel or reporting‑tool skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and professionalism handling sensitive data
