Overview:

Our client, a nationally recognized plaintiff’s law firm, is seeking an experienced Michigan litigator with at least seven years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience to lead and expand its Michigan practice. The ideal candidate is a proven trial attorney with strong leadership skills, a passion for advocacy, and the drive to deliver exceptional results for clients. This is a leadership position offering substantial growth potential, autonomy, and performance-based rewards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of personal injury claims from intake through trial and appeal.

Lead all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, expert preparation, mediation, and trial.

Develop case strategies, assess liabilities and damages, and negotiate favorable settlements.

Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and representation.

Participate in business development initiatives, including referral cultivation and community outreach.

Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and firm standards.

Contribute to firm leadership, strategic planning, and practice growth.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with active Michigan bar admission.

Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in personal injury law.

Proven courtroom and trial experience.

Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.

Exceptional written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and case management abilities.

Demonstrated success in achieving strong client outcomes.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
