Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a mid-shift Emergency Department position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
Mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
36 hours per week with every other weekend required
13-week contract assignment
Provide emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations and urgent medical needs
All Ascension facilities observe a radius rule; local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate depending on location
COVID vaccination is not required
Must submit two separate professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
Requirements
Active RN license with primary source verification required prior to start
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Certification preferred
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
