About the Opportunity:
CFS has partnered with a local municipal organization seeking an experienced Dayforce HRIS & Benefits Consultant to lead high-impact HRIS and benefits projects on a temporary, project-based basis. This is a critical role supporting system optimization, benefits administration, and process automation while upskilling internal staff. Projects include auditing eligibility rules, streamlining vendor integrations, and automating employee self-service workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit, optimize, and document benefits eligibility rules and configurations within Dayforce

  • Lead automation and integration efforts between Dayforce and benefits vendors (e.g., Anthem)

  • Train and upskill internal staff on Dayforce modules, reporting, and self-service tools

  • Develop reconciliation and audit procedures for enrollments and payroll deductions

  • Enhance employee self-service and open enrollment processes

Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven hands-on experience configuring Ceridian Dayforce , especially benefits and HR modules

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and HR reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to document processes and train internal teams

  • Project/change management experience; xrczosw public sector or education HR experience is a plus

  • Experience with additional HRIS/payroll systems (Workday, UltiPro, ADP)

  • HR analytics or project management expertise
