Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the entire Accounts Payable process and its effects on related functions before and after it. Prepare for month-end and year-end closing by creating journal entries, supporting schedules, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely completion of the closing process. Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and reliability of all Accounts Payable ledger balances. Support audit preparation by providing required financial documents and addressing auditor's questions. Assist with the preparation and filing of annual 1099 and 1042 tax forms. Participate in special projects related to accounting and financial reporting as needed. Implement and uphold accounting policies, processes, systems, and internal controls. Identify and suggest ways to improve current processes and recommend new business initiatives to increase efficiency. Support the application and reconciliation of corporate and purchasing card transactions. Help document and update internal policies, as well as create communication and training materials. Resolve issues in line with the company's Accounts Payable policies. Associate's degree or equivalent education Over 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable Solid understanding of general accounting principles, regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including accounting software and spreadsheets Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Proven customer service skills Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage stress and prioritize time efficiently Demonstrates urgency and consistently meets deadlines Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team What's on Offer
