Base pay range
$18.00/hr - $21.00/hr Responsibilities
Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and readiness of floor and stock room. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries. Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drop to the safe, and provide change as requested. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Customer Experience
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience. Share best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience. Operations
Hold store keys to open and close without management when necessary. Assist and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries. Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including recording scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids. Assist manager or assistant store manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating displays. Maintain accurate inventory counts and on‑hand quantities. Ensure Outdate program compliance with team members. Handle basic department pricing, daily price changes, and signage updates. Assist with bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, ledgers, and bill payments. Maintain a clean and orderly store condition and appearance. Separation of food items and proper stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out. Possess working knowledge of store systems and equipment. Assist at the pharmacy window when requested. Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Check bags of team members before leaving the store. Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager. Communications
Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members, communicating tasks when management is absent. Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management. Basic Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of store inventory control. Consideration for qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
