Base pay range $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Responsibilities

Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.

Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.

Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Collate customer service best practices and share them with all team members.

Hold store keys and open/close the store without management as necessary.

Assist with and coach other team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, and on opening the back door for vendor deliveries.

Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.

Assisting manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and reverse logistics.

Assist manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions.

Maintain accurate inventory counts in all departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.

Ensure the Outdate program is followed with team members.

Handle basic department pricing and make daily price changes; ensure proper signage is displayed and comply with local regulations.

Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.

Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the store is clean, neat, and orderly, and request repairs as required.

Separately handle food item placement and stock rotation as per policy.

Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.

Assist at pharmacy out window as requested.

Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.

Check bags of team members before leaving the store.

Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager.

Communications

Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is absent.

Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Basic Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of store inventory control.

Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Salary Range:

$19 - $22 / Hourly
