Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or electronic lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory records.
- Transport picked goods to the staging area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company safety regulations and procedures, with an emphasis on the correct use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment for Lifting and moving items.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals for order picking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse position is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse technologies like scanners and order management systems.
- Understanding of basic inventory control and logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
