Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory using an order list or RF scanner.
- Verify item accuracy against the order to minimize errors.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed (training may be provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your picking routes and assigned work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and efficiently.
- Understand and follow warehouse procedures related to order fulfillment and logistics.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
